Finally Redmi Note 5 Pro users can get a taste of Android 8.1 Oreo. Besides this, Xiaomi has also announced official Project Treble support. The new update brings several new features like Dual 4G VoLTE, Picture in Picture mode, better battery stats and control over notifications.

The leaked update is a nightly build and will have some minor bugs. However, there are no major bugs at the moment. This means you can use two SIMs that are VoLTE supported simultaneously. The leaked ROM also brings other Oreo features like Picture in Picture mode, allowing users to view videos in a small pop-out window while using another app.
