Xiaomi has started Express Delivery service in India . It will be available to the customers of Bengaluru who placed orders through its Mi.com site and Mi Store app. There won’t be any additional delivery charges levied on the customer.

Xiaomi Express Delivery

The move comes a few days after Xiaomi unveiled WhatsApp based Bunny subscription. If you are placing the order from Mi store app, you need to tap the ‘Delivery Service’ option after proceeding to checkout, and if eligible, you’ll see the option to opt for ‘Express Delivery Service’. Once you press ‘Confirm Button’ your order will be delivered using the new service.

Every new service has certain conditions, and Xiaomi’s express delivery works between 9am and 4:30pm only. One key drawback is Xiaomi is not accepting Cash on delivery for orders placed using the new delivery system. Also, not all products are eligible. Only Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4, Redmi Y1, Redmi 5A, Mi Max 2, and Mi A1 are included currently.

Xiaomi recently toppled Samsung to be the largest smartphone seller in India. Its efforts are now continuing to wipe of shares of companies like Intex and Karbonn that deliver poor smartphones.

Recalling Xiaomi’s WhatsApp Bunny, the service is exclusively dedicated to Mi fans so they get instant updates about latest Xiaomi news, new product launches, product deals, sale reminders, notifications about MIUI weekly updates, and reminders about Mi Fan meetups over WhatsApp.

What do you have to say about Express delivery? Will it be released in tier-2 cities?
