Xiaomi is planning to launch a new smartphone this year, the Xiaomi Mi 6X. The smartphone is the successor of Mi A1 (also called as Mi 5X) that was released last year. A Chinese microblogging site Weibo has allegedly leaked the back cover of this device.

The image shows that it will have a full metal body with dual camera setup. The cameras have been placed vertically this time. A tiny hole has been placed in-between the dual cameras indicating that there will be LED flash. The fingerprint sensor is expected to be at the back side as Xiaomi will be using trendy 18:9 display aspect ratio.
A similar leak was surfaced a few weeks back that showed Mi 6X has speaker grill and 3.5mm jack at the bottom. The processor used might be Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and up to 6GB of RAM. It’s not possible to say much about this device as only back cover has been leaked.
What we assume is that Mi 6X will be launched internationally as Mi A2. The naming is similar to last years Mi 5X which was released as Mi A1 with stock Android.
