The much awaited Moto G6 lineup will be launched on April 19. According to Android Pit, the invites for the event has already been sent. The invite shows an event scheduled by Motorola asking attendees to ‘save the date’, which means that a more detailed invite and some more teasers are expected as the launch date draws nearer. The launch will event will feature Moto G6, Moto G6 Play and Moto G6 Plus.
Moto G6 Play
Speculated to be the most affordable G6 series smartphone from Moto. It is expected to have HD+ IPS LCD display, a Snapdragon 427 SoC, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. The rear camera might have 13 MP shooter and a 5 MP camera on the front for selfies. The device might come with 4,000 mAh battery to power all of the above hardware.
Next, we have Moto G6. The device will be priced higher than Moto G6 Play but less than G6 Play. The device is expected to pack in a slightly better 5.7-inch FHD+ display and comes with 16 MP primary camera and a 5 MP secondary camera. The new Moto G6 will also be embedded with Snapdragon 630 SoC, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. Battery capacity is expected to be around 3,000 mAh.
Moto G6 Plus
Finally, Moto G6 Plus comes with a 5.93-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 630 SoC, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. The device might feature camera specifications similar to Moto G6. However, the battery capacity will slightly be larger than Moto G6.
Also, Lenovo has slashed the price of its Moto G5s smartphone in India by Rs 5,000 and it is now available for purchase at Rs 9,999 from Amazon under the 45th anniversary sale.
