MWC 2018 saw LG copying iPhone X like notch in its upcoming flagship, the LG G7. Fresh information revealed by a South Korean publication states that the company is aiming to launch the LG G7 at the end of next month. The device is expected to go on sale in Korea, the US or Europe.
LG G7 Specifications
The report reveals that G7 will have OLED display with a notch on top which will have a camera and some sensors. The backside of the phone is expected to house a vertically arranged dual rear cameras that will include a pair of 16-megapixel sensors. The camera will have AI capabilities like in LG V30S.
The handset is also said to be packing a 3,000 mAh battery, while previous rumors suggested the handset would include a Snapdragon 845 chipset and at least 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB storage. The G7+ model may arrive with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. LG wants to position itself as brand that can dominate flagship smartphone market. LG G7 will cost 999,800 won (or approx Rs 66,949), an increase of 100,000 won over the price of G6 which was launched at 899,800 won (or approx Rs 54,872).
LG is also planning to differentiate its V and G series smartphone as the difference between the pricing is not much. Meanwhile there are rumors surfacing about LG V40.
