Huawei has launched its latest smartphone, Y9 in Thailand. This new smartphone features four cameras while retaining some internals from the previously launched Mate 10 Lite and Honor 9i. The device will be available in Black, Blue, and Gold colours.
Huawei Y9 Specifications
The Huawei Y9 (2018) sports 5.93-inch FullView display with full-HD+ (1080×2160 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio while featuring a dual camera set-up on the front and rear. The phone will be embedded with Kirin 659, the same chipset we saw in Huawei 9 Lite. The Y9 (2018) also gets 3 GB of RAM and onboard storage of 32 GB which is further expandable via microSD( upto 256GB).
The phone has a metal unibody design and a fingerprint scanner on the back. Regarding optics, the dual-camera setup at the rear comprises of a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP secondary shooter. The front dual camera has 16MP shooter paired with a 2MP camera. The new Y9 smartphone is a mid-segment smartphone that has similar specs to the Huawei 9i.
There’s a 4,000 mAh battery and the device runs on Huawei’s EMUI 8.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo. One key highlight about this device that it will receive official Project Treble.
Huawei Y9 Price, availability
Reports suggest that the Huawei Y9 will be priced at EUR 200 (around Rs. 16,000) while it is still uncertain if the smartphone will enter other markets or not.
