The much awaited smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ was launched at MWC 2018 in Barcelona. As announced, the devices are scheduled to go on sale in selected markets starting March 16, and the company has already started taking pre-orders in India. Both devices are available in a choice of 64GB or 256GB in either Lilac Purple, Midnight Black or Coral Blue.
Samsung will be organizing an event on March 6 in New Delhi to launch the Galaxy S9 Series in India. The company has started sending out invitations to the media for the same. Lets find about the pricing leaks.
According to a report by 91mobiles, some claimingly official document from Samsung, reveals the price of all four models. As per the information, the Galaxy S9 64GB variant will retail at Rs 62,500 in India, whereas the 256GB variant will be sold at Rs 71,000.
Moving over the pricing of the variants of the Galaxy S9 Plus, the 64 GB version will go on sale for Rs 70,000 and the 256 GB variant for Rs 79,000.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 features 5.8-inch QHD+ curved Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9, whereas the Galaxy S9+ features a larger 6.2-inch display. Both the smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 (in the US) or Exynos 9810 SoC (in other markets).
For photography, Samsung has added variable aperture technology that can switch the aperture between f/1.5 and f/2.4. The Galaxy S9 has single camera and the Galaxy S9+ has dual camera. Both the devices support Optical Image Stabilisation too.
