It’s been a while since LG launched new smartphone, especially flagship devices. Last week it was revealed that LG V30s will be revealed at MWC 2018. But now a new leak has surfaced about LG’s upcoming flagship device, codenamed Judy.
LG G7 or Judy?
There has already been a huge delay in launching LG G7. All eyes were pointing at MWC 2018, but now, it’s said to arrive in June, and not be called the G7. Judy will pack a 6.1-inch, 18:9 aspect ratio screen in Judy. The MLCD+ technology (with white sub-pixels), used in the display provides a high 800-nit brightness and consumes 35 percent less power than a typical IPS LCD panel.
Under the hood, it will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coupled with 4GB RAM. The design will be similar to LG G6. A dual rear camera setup with 16MP sensor is also expected. The unnamed device will have IP68 certification, stereo speakers, HDR support, wireless charging, digital assistant and voice recognition.
Also the new flagship will have AI capabilities, thanks to Snapdragon 845. Its launch at the Mobile World Congress is ruled out, as LG is reportedly targeting a June release for Judy. However, last month LG had also confirmed that the G7 is on schedule and that it will Be announced when time is right.
Till then, we have to wait for four months till LG launches its next flagship?
