Xiaomi Mi TV 4 was launched in India on Wednesday. The new product was launched alongside Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro. The TV was originally released at CES 2017 and then went on sale in China. The TV has now been launched in India, but currently only 55inch variant will be available for sale.

Xiaomi Mi TV 4 price in India
The Xiaomi Mi TV 4 55 inch has been priced at Rs 39,999. It may sound costly until you read the specifications and find out what this TV offers. Launch offers for the first three months include free 3-month subscription (worth Rs. 619) to Sony Liv and Hungama Play, the Mi IR cable (worth Rs. 299), and on-site installation worth Rs. 1,099 for free. It will be available to buy from Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi Home stores, starting February 22.

Xiaomi claims the TV to be the worlds thinnest LED TV. It has 55 inch LED display panel with a 4K (3840×2160 pixels) resolution and HDR support. The panel has refresh rate of 60 Hz and response time of 8ms. The TV is powered by 64-bit quad-core Amlogic Cortex-A53 SoC clocked up to 1.8GHz, coupled with Mali-T830 graphics. It is embedded with 2GB of RAM and internal storage of 8GB.
Xiaomi has included all possible connectivity feature in this TV. It includes three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB (one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0) ports, an Ethernet port, an S/PDIF port, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth 4.0.
Besides this Xiaomi has also kept in mind about audio experience as well. It boasts Dolby+DTS Cinema Audio Quality, with two 8W duct inverted speakers. One more feature that was highlighted during launch was AI-powered PatchWall UI that has been redesigned for the Indian market. The PatchWall UI offers personalised recommendations and universal search.
Accessories include TV remote that has 11 buttons and can be used to control a set-top box apart from the television itself, using the Mi IR cable priced at Rs. 299. It will be bundled with 500,000 hours of content will be available, of which 80 percent will be free content.
Popular streaming services like Hotstar, Voot, Voot Kids, Sony Liv, Hungama Play, Zee5, Sun NXT, ALT Balaji, Viu, TVF and Flickstree are also supported.
