Xiaomi Mi 7, the flagship smartphone was rumored to release at MWC 2018. The latest reports suggest that Xiaomi will be backing down from the launch of Mi 7 during MWC, instead Xiaomi will be releasing Mi Mix 2S.
You know a lot a about upcoming Mi Mix 2s, so why not put some light on Mi 7 now? To begin with, a screenshot claiming to be from the Mi 7 itself has been doing rounds on the web revealing some details about the phone.
Mi 7 specifications (leaked)
Firstly, the new smartphone will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which is pretty obvious. It boasts a mammoth 4,480 mAh battery, which 33% more when compared Mi 6. Coming to RAM, the topmost variant might have 8GB RAM while the base variant with 6GB.
Xiaomi might also use dual rear camera with 16MP sensor. The display will be at-least 5.6 inch with a resolution of 2160×1080 pixels. The internal storage is suggested to be around 128GB and running MIUI 9 based on Android Oreo. There is a possibility the 6-inch screen would be available on the larger Mi 7 Plus.
The screenshot shows Mi 7 running MIUI 8.1.30 which is impossible for a flagship from Xiaomi. Last year, the company ditched the Mi 6 and brought the Mi Mix 2 to India instead. It will also be interesting to see whether Xiaomi brings the Mi 7 to India this time.
