The most anticipated Android Oreo update for OnePlus 5 users has finally been released by OnePlus. Along with the update, you will also be getting latest December Security patch from Google as well.

The news was announced on OnePlus Forums with detailed changelogs. The update will be incremental, which means it will be released to small number of users initially and in coming days everyone will start getting it.

Hopefully this update will be stable and not like OnePlus 3T Oreo update which had to be withdrawn later. OnePlus had added the Parallel apps feature along with a new ‘Adaptive model’ screen calibration and optimisations to Wi-Fi, Battery Saver, photo quality in the camera app and beauty effect for the Portrait mode.
