OnePlus was the first company to fuel this segment. People now believe in RAM power. It’s obvious that phones with higher RAM will perform better. But what’s the point if you are using less powerful processor. It’s like using 6GB RAM on Dual Core processor. With the launch of extremely powerful processor like Snapdragon 821 and 823, you can definitely feel the need of more RAM. Today there are plenty of phones that have 6GB RAM, the latest OnePlus 5 comes in 8GB variant too. Savvydroid is here to tell you some of the best smartphones with 6GB RAM.
OnePlus 3T was launched in November 2016. It boasts a huge 5.5 inch Full HD display with ppi of 401 pixels per inch. The display is bright even under direct sunlight. It sports a quad-core Snapdragon 821 SoC with two cores clocked at 2.35GHz and two cores at 1.6GHz, the Adreno 530 GPU, and 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM.
Moving on-to the OS, it runs on Android 6.0.1 which is based on Oxygen OS. The phone has 3,400 mAh which promises to deliver good battery backup. It measures 152.70 x 74.70 x 7.35 mm and weighs 158.00 grams. Sensors include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscopic sensor. It supports that dash charging that gives a days power in half an hour. It has 16 MP rear camera that captures excellent snaps. In the front there’s a 16MP camera that can shoot cool selfies. The phone has a fingerprint sensor mounted under the home button.
After the launch of OnePlus 5, OnePlus 3T still has a lot of demand. For a normal user, this is an excellent device. Priced at about Rs 30K this is the best phone you can get. OnePlus has also promised some updates by 2017 end. We don’t know whats cooking in R&D team. Hopefully something even better and more improvements in the camera.
Coolpad Cool Play 6
This phone is about to topple the smartphones that rule under Rs 20K. You read it correct! 6 GB RAM smartphone under Rs 20,000. We were also shocked after hearing this. Coolpad which has always played safe is now about to make a big launch in India. It was launched in China few months back. Coolpad said it will release this device on August 20 which will be via Amazon. The features are mind boggling. It has 5.5 inch Full HD display(401 ppi) and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 653 processor coupled with 6 GB of RAM and Adreno 510 GPU. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 with company’s own custom UI.
It has 13 MP (f2.2 Aperture, Monochrome Sensor)+13 MP (f2.0, Color Sensor) Dual Rear Camera with Sony sensor, 6P lens, PDAF and portrait mode. On the front there’s 8MP camera. It has support for fingerprint. The body is made up of metal and has 4060mAh battery. The phone supports Dual SIM (4G+4G). There’s no option to expand the storage via SD card, but 64 GB should be sufficient.
The phone seems really appealing on papers. If the phone lives upto users expectation then this will shatter almost every records. The phone is expected to be priced within 15K. Coolpad always does brilliant job when it comes to camera. This phone does seem to do the same. For now we will be mum.

With unmatched screen resolution and Processing power, this phone is an absolute beast. Th camera performance is also astonishing.
