Since there are already many reviews about crdroid I’ll directly jump to battery part of it.

Some highlights:
This ROM is actually cool as it remains cool in Coolpad😂 i.e no sign of heating
There may be some bugs as Shripal had mentioned in his official review but those actually don’t bother much to me.

From Shripal Jain’s official review:

– file manager unable to copy files from otg
– some network issues
– vibrate on buttons tap not working
– volte not working (as mentioned)
– EDIT: Greeen LED works for apps added in notification settings (search for ‘notification light’ in settings)
– Low sound
– double tap to wake and other gestures not working
– wifi not switching on after using hotspot
– internet speed indicator not working (show 0b/s always)
– cant remap functions of recents button… home and back button functions can be remapped
– as mentioned, video recording not working in stock camera app
– data usage not being recorded
– sim doesnt get detected in first boot. works fine after rebooting
– boot time is high. Nougat based ROMs should boot within max 2mins

– Many many customisation options
– Substratum working perfectly fine for me
– Jio Data working
– hotspot working
– stability is good
– around 700-800MB RAM used by system on boot
– The basic apps in this ROM are better than the stock ones (gallery, music, etc)
– Music can be played via Bluetooth speakers
– Jio4GVoice working
– gives premium nougat feel
– ROM is light, less than 500MB cause GApps are not pre included
– Google Assistant working fine
– Fingerprint working fine
– Camera working with flash
– first boot takes approx 10mins and the boot animation is ugly XD

Now, my small review on battery

This is a true battery beast, in other roms SIM using 4g used to get disabled automatically when phone was idle and battery used to drain because of that. But I didn’t find this issue here. Check the SoT, it completely outruns all MM and other nougat ROMs. 7 hours is something I never expected.

Some notes:
1)Don’t flash stock gapps with this ROM, gboard will be broken. Flash Pico/nano instead
2)Some note 3 users were complaining that they were unable to boot the phone if battery drains completely, so avoid draining the battery fully. As for lite, I faced this issue but I solved it by connecting the charger and booting into recovery
3) also draining note 3 lite completely will take 4-5 hours to charge the phone to 100%.  Otherwise it takes max 3 hours to charge.

Overall the best ROM till now!
As of now SOT war standings for lite
LP v29 (reaper God kernel)> crdroid> osti
